Bunnies

My theme for this photo series was spring. I created the clay bunnies out of epoxy clay, most of the furniture from popsicle sticks, and created the sets using construction paper. My inspiration was Claymation and Arthur Rankin Jr's work like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. I wanted to capture the same feelings of joy, nostalgia, and warmth that media gives me. I used two sets, an outdoor one and an indoor one, all including their own moveable props. I staged the bunnies doing various spring activities and in day-in-the-life type settings. I enjoyed the hands on aspects of this project and I really took pleasure in staging all the small figures and props.
