Living Stills

Gifs are usually littered across the internet and used with abandonment. The goal was to create a level of "art" using a gif as a medium. For this project I used video, polymer clay, and digital animation. I first created the clay figure, painted it once dry, leaving the face bare as I knew I would be digitally animating it. I then got my set ready for video and recorded the moving background. Once I had the video, I created a the animation on top of it and then created a looped gif out of all the components.
